Zach give Jinteki a try next time for corp. The rule book says to start with them and you might like them due to the ease of playing them. They also have a lot of cards to sucker in a runner and end up hurting them. Fun to watch, look forward to more.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will look into it. I need to simply play more of this game too.

I hear ya’ Zach on the more gameplay. The more I play the better I’m getting a handle on what icebreakers can break what. Those darn names are crazy!

Jinteki is a super fun corporation, mostly because you feel awesome tricking the runner. I was introducing the game to Evan, our RPG writer, and I made a run on his R&D and pulled a snare card that killed me off the top! What a twist!

I originally thought they were going to be my corporation of choice but I have started playing more and more Weyland and liking their mechanics for meat damaging the Runner to death.

I need to try Weyland yet. By the sound of how they do damage, which I found my self doing in my last game with new tweeks to the deck, I should try them. I’m kind of stuck on the 1st one I used I guess and I’m still getting the hang of the game myself.

It’s a super deep game and like you mentioned, I feel like I could still just focus on one side and one faction and be learning. Weyland has a big focus on tagging and then meat damaging the player from what I’ve seen and if you are the kind of corp player that would rather kill the Runner than win by scoring agendas, they are a good match. – Christian
